This is a ton of fun and once people see it they can't help but wanting to try it out. The solution the ferrofluid is in is crystal clear so it's super easy to see the effects the magnets have on the ferrofluid. The magnets are strong so be careful about getting them too close to each other, but even if you do you can easily pull them apart by the handles. The more you play around with this the better control you will have over the fluid and the size and number of spikes you form with the magnets.
